InClay Co.
Vendor
InClay Co. is a POC family-owned farm in La Center, WA founded in permaculture practices. We began on a humble 1/4 acre of rented land in Spring 2019 and purchased a 40 acre farm later that year. We've devoted one acre of the property to our annual production of flowers, herbs and food while working in parallel to build up our perennial crops of lavender, elderberry, arnica, heirloom chrysanthemums, roses, peonies and food forest/orchard. We've also layered in hens and rabbits with mobile shelters that we rotate for natural fertilizer and alternate food source. Nothing excites us more than to grow unique varieties while simultaneously caring for the earth!

We believe that building fertility from our clay soil produces beautiful and healthy flowers, nutrient dense food and a better earth for future generations. Nicole is a certified Permaculture Designer and upholds its regenerative principles as InClay Co's core values. We also comply with the USDA's Certified Organic Regulations as we are in the Transitional Program. We use zero chemicals, integrate sustainable farming techniques and provide our animals with the greatest care possible to ensure them a happy life.
Roberto and Nicole Paniagua
Hello! We are a husband and wife duo here at InClay Co. Here's a little info about us:
Roberto: Originally from Mexico, Robbie previously worked as a scuba diving instructor! He got his start in farming by volunteering on various farms throughout the PNW and working for an organic vegetable farm in Oregon. His favorite crops to grow are tomatoes, peppers and sweet peas. He also enjoys geeking out over soil ecology, different composting methods, animal husbandry and beekeeping. Off the farm he loves to play video games and his guitar, bake sourdough bread, read and watch/play soccer.
Nicole: After sixteen years in the entertainment industry, Nicole segued into sustainable agriculture and completed a Permaculture Design Course in Costa Rica in 2016. Upon her return to the U.S., she began working at Ridgetop Gardens, an organic flower farm in Northern California. This is where she discovered the therapy in working with flowers and realized that she'd love to grow flowers of her own one day! She spent the next year developing her floral design skills by working alongside a wedding and event floral designer in Portland and now grows organic cut flowers for her own design projects to bring joy, color and texture to all spaces. Her favorite crops to grow are melons (to satisfy her sweet tooth) and marigolds. When she's not farming you can find her crocheting, quilting, apothecary making, doing yoga and hanging out with their adorable baby girl, Charlotte.
