Pilot House Distilling

What started as a kitchen passion project for Larry Cary has grown to a full blown distilling operation in the heart of historic downtown Astoria, OR - Pilot House Distilling. In addition to our distillery and original tasting room in Astoria, we now have a tasting room on Mississippi avenue in North Portland as well. Larry and his wife Christina have a true love of spirits, and for fine tuning each recipe to carefully highlight the unique flavor profiles of each spirit we produce. Larry's attention to small-batch quality and affinity for dynamic flavor pallets brings us the line of spirits our regulars have come to know and love.

We use all natural ingredients and do not add unnecessary sugar or artificial flavoring to any of our products. Our vodkas are fresh infused with hand prepared ingredients, all produced from beginning to end in Astoria.

Oregon is gifted with a number of local craft distillers, and we love being part of the industry. While we like to help support other distilleries, the variety of specialty spirits we offer allows us to be unique. Our offerings include mini bottles to fifths to hand sanitizer to canned cocktails.

It is also worth noting that we released Oregon’s fist canned cocktail – the Astoria Mary! This has been a huge hit for us. We have also started batching our own recipe of Bloody Knuckles Bloody Mary mix, which is Dairy & Gluten free as well as vegan.
