Missing In Action (MIA) is a Detroit-based clean outdoor haircare brand creating a new category: protective haircare for people who stay on the move. Our hero product, HairBlock, is the first clean, research-backed outdoor barrier serum for hair and scalp — designed specifically for textured and natural hair that's long been underserved by traditional sun and environmental protection products.

HairBlock defends against UV damage, chlorine, salt water, and cold-weather stress using a clean, reef-compliant formula featuring 10% CitroComplex® Bio-Tech, 9% UV filters, and Daikon Seed Extract. It's reef-friendly, clean, and vegan.

Founded in 2025, MIA sits at the intersection of outdoor lifestyle and premium haircare — a growing market with no clear category leader. We're building the brand that names and owns this space.
