At Crafted Country Style, we are a scratch kitchen down to our own seasoning blends, our own freshly grown herbs, made from scratch sauces, gravies and marinades. We use fresh vegetables and occasionally use frozen organic. We serve everything from slow-smoked Texas BBQ, country comfort food, bold Cajun, and fresh coastal seafood to Mediterranean, Italian, Tex-Mex, and anything in between. Our chefs can create high-end plated dinners, casual gatherings, and custom menus including hors d’oeuvres for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and more. We offer full-service catering, weekly heat-and-eat dinners, special event food truck menus and farmers market hand foods like breakfast burritos. We also have manufactured products like our salsa, bbq sauce, bourbon peach glaze and canned tomato products using East Texas grown tomatoes when in season.
We are insured through FLIP. Our staff have their food managers certificates, we have our Texas food manufacturers certificate and we operate out of FNG Commissary Kitchen in McKinney

Julie Johnston is the owner and driving force behind Crafted Country Style, a Texas-based food company dedicated to delivering high-quality, thoughtfully prepared meals across multiple service channels. What began as a passion for homestyle cooking has grown into a diverse operation that includes catering, a food truck, hot prepared meals, and small-batch food manufacturing.
Julie’s approach blends practicality with creativity, focusing on real ingredients, balanced flavors, and food that feels both familiar and elevated. Whether serving a catered event, preparing weekly meals for families, or developing products for broader distribution, she is committed to consistency, quality, and a strong connection to the local community.
Under her leadership, Crafted Country Style continues to expand while staying rooted in its core mission: providing dependable, flavorful food that fits seamlessly into people’s everyday lives.
