Shiny Pinks

Each piece I create is delicately handcrafted at my home studio in Kitsilano, Vancouver BC. Weaving tiny beads one by one with a needle and thread is a slow, meticulous process, but I find beading to be most relaxing.
Originally from Japan, I realized I needed a hobby to get through the long rainy winters when I moved to Vancouver over 20 years ago. What started with a simple beaded ring kit turned into a lifelong passion for creating unique, handcrafted beaded jewellery.
I use world-renowned Miyuki Delica glass beads from Japan to ensure each piece is as durable and lightweight as it is beautiful.
By day, I work at UBC. When not bead-weaving, I enjoy spending time with my French Bulldog, Choco
