Demeter's Kitchen is a cottage bakery that specializes in whole grain sourdoughs. our aim is to create bread that is good for the community and our bodies. we want to make bread a daily staple again.
Catie cohen is the baker, creator and grain lover at Demeter's Kitchen. Our small team is comprised of 2 other women, Isabelle (a grad student at UNT studying to get her PhD in Philosphy) and Aminat (an undergrad studying to get her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics). Both of these women bring so much to Demeter's Kitchen (and me personally) in their commitment to equality, social justice and how that extends into food.
