The Local Epicurean East Lansing

The Local Epicurean East Lansing is a destination for immersive culinary experiences, specialty foods, and thoughtfully prepared take home meals. We are best known for our private, hands-on cooking classes and team-building events, all hosted in our Grand Rapids or East Lansing location.

Our cooking classes center around Italian inspired three-course meals that guests prepare and enjoy together, making them ideal for date nights, birthdays, bridal showers, and other special celebrations. For corporate groups, we also offer Team Building Cooking Classes. Just an example: one-course risotto challenge, with an optional mystery dessert basket to add an element of friendly competition.
In addition to our classes, The Local Epicurean also has a specialty retail market featuring our hand made and hand cut flavored pasta in addition to sauces, oils, vinegars and other items and a full bar, open seven days a week!
At the farmers markets we would bring Handmade flavor infused pappardelle pasta, sun-dried tomato pesto, basil pesto, ramp butter, garlic bread, dehydrated morel soup, morel mushrooms when in season
