you crazy child

I’ve always dabbled in using different mediums to create art and crafts and decided it was time to put a name to my little hobby. I thought long and hard about the image I wanted to project and what wold give me a sense of value and love for being a maker. I turned to my favorite artist, Billy Joel, for inspiration. Thus, ‘you crazy child’ was born. It seemed like a perfect blend of my love for crafting, one of my two favorite Billy Joel songs (Vienna), and the love for my son.

Currently this is a small side business for me as I navigate motherhood and job uncertainty. I can only hope my love for crafting, humor, and eye for simplicity and design resonates with customers. I find myself wanting to make all the things and constantly being inspired by other makers, thus I tend to keep a small, but varied inventory of goods. Enjoy!
