Aura St. Pete was born out of creator, Georgia's fascination with scents and how they change with different body chemistries, the desire to find her own signature scent, the need for natural alternatives to choking on chemicals in the mall, and the aura that glows in everyone. The very definition of the word "aura" is 1. a distinctive atmosphere surrounding a given source
2. a subtle sensory stimulus (such as an aroma). Aura’s “St. Pete Scentimental” line is inspired by actual places around St. Petersburg.
I am a 3rd generation St. Petersburg native. I have always been obsessed with scents and started making my own perfumes over 10 years ago. The past couple years I have really studied the art of natural perfume making. I have read several books, asked professional perfumers lots of questions, created my first perfume line, created several hydrosols and scented baths, and have even started my own medicinal, tropical fruit, and perfume garden in which I have over 35 perfume species. My first line of perfumes is called “St. Pete Scentimental” because they are all inspired by actual places in St. Petersburg, Florida.
