About

Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM) provides and promotes community with live traditional and contemporary Americana music experiences. Through these performances we aim to attract visitors from outside the region and help develop Weber County and Ogden as a destination for first class arts events and recreation. We strive to raise awareness of the many benefits of exposure to music and traditional instrument playing by providing music education opportunities with a focus on youth audiences.

The Ogden Music Festival is our signature event that brings together friends and fans of acoustic music from Ogden and beyond, and is the perfect way to start your summer on a high note, whether it's high, lonesome bluegrass or some hot licks on the fiddle. We couldn't be more excited for 2024!
Working together with the hundreds of artists, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and logistical teams, it's our collective dream to promote and celebrate Ogden's arts, culture, and natural beauty with residents and visitors, alike. Kids, 16 and younger, are invited to attend the festival for free, with the hope that their experience with live, traditional music performed in an outdoor setting will inspire this next generation to keep these traditions alive. Kids of all ages will love OFOAM's WILL & WAY Instrument Petting Zoo and other music and outdoor-themed crafts and activities.
Exposure to music at a young age can change one's life. There is significant research to support that kids who play musical instruments do better in all walks of life. Thus, OFOAM established Weber Instrument Lending Library (WILL) for Weber Acoustic Youth (WAY) (WILL & WAY), a program to loan instruments to children, youth and underserved adults in our community where there is an interest, a need, and or a financial roadblock.

OFOAM is a major sponsor of Dia de Los Muertos en Ogden, to honor Latino culture and community inclusivity.
