Feathered Knechtions (pronounced connections) is a small local, woman owner business and quail breeder specializing in coturnix quail education for being more self-sufficient in the city. During our summer farmer's market we offer fresh quail eggs, pet treats made from whole ground quail and quail associated crafts such as jewelry, crochet and quail egg candles.

Hi! My name is Kelli and my family and I focus on teaching City Limit Self-Sufficiency through our passion for coturnix quail! Our business is called Feathered Knechtions (pronounced connections). During 2020, we decided not to wait until we got our dream property to get more serious about where our food comes from and learning homesteading skills. So, we started with chickens and coturnix quail and have also raised Muscovy ducks, honeybees and rabbits. Follow along with us as we go from ‘city slickers’ to homesteaders one skill at a time.
