I create wearable art from fused glass that I fuse at high temperatures in a kiln. I hand select the most colorful eye-catching pieces for my pendants, bracelets and earrings. I also select natural gem stones such as agate, jasper, quartz, onyx and turquoise to create earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Many of these complement the style and the colors of pendants.
I also display naturally beautiful stones and geodes with hand crafted candle displays, allowing the candle light to illuminate the translucent stones. I use hand cut and polished jasper and agate to create pendants that display the beauty of the stones. All my wearable art is unique where no two pieces are the same.
In addition, I enjoy painting enlarged flower images on ceramic plates with food safe ceramic glaze. My flower plate series incorporates images of different local flowers and bees. Many images of enlarged flowers capture the details and delicacies of the natural world.
