The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is a nonprofit, peer-run recovery center dedicated to supporting adults living with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring challenges. Our center is staffed by Certified Peer Specialists and Recovery Coaches who bring lived experience to the work they do, creating authentic connections and understanding with the individuals we serve.

We provide a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where people can find support, build community, and take meaningful steps in their recovery journey. All of our services are completely free and available to adults 18 and older.

The Gathering Place offers a wide range of peer-led services including one-on-one peer support, mental health and substance use support groups, educational and life skills classes, resource navigation, and wellness activities. Our programming is guided by the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and is designed to meet people where they are while supporting growth in all areas of life.

Beyond direct support, we work to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and substance use through education, advocacy, and community engagement. At The Gathering Place, we believe everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and access to support. Our goal is to ensure that no one has to face mental health or substance use challenges alone and that everyone who walks through our doors can find hope, connection, and a sense of belonging.
