Flourish Bakery is a non-profit social enterprise that employs individuals in recovery from substance use disorder and/or incarceration in a twelve month bakery and pastry art training program. The training program started on January 2, 2018 and at this time is located in the kitchen of Salt Lake Community College, South State Street campus.
We bake from scratch using whole ingredients (as many locally sourced as possible). Our menu is seasonal--utilizing seasonally available ingredients. We teach and utilize classical baking techniques, forming products by hand in small batch quantities.
