Project Hot Sauce is a small batch company based in Bronxville, NY. Established in 2024, we partner with local organic farmers to procure the majority of the produce needed for our product line. This includes 9 flavors currently as well as seasoned salts, chili flakes and a chili crisp. These are flavor forward products meant toi enhance every day meals with balance in mind. Currently we have a website where we sell online and participate in the Pleasantville Farmers Market. As a new company, we have found that giving tastings at the market rapidly convert customers to regulars. We are excited to expand our customer base to adding more markets to our roster.
Dave Phillips
Dave grew up in a musical family in Northern California and followed in his fathers footsteps to become a professional bassist. After graduating from high school he move to France where he spent the next 5 years cutting his teeth and touring around Europe with different Jazz and Folk groups. Then it became time to level up and move to New York City. After taking a few Classical bass lessons he soon received a scholarship to the Mannes College of Music and became a sought after team player. After graduating Juilliard with his masters he started his own Jazz quartet and over the next 20 years made 4 albums of original music. As a musician with some good fortune, he got to travel around the world. With a penchant for good food, all this traveling allowed him to try spicy condiments all over the globe. When the pandemic hit, his job as bassist for the Book of Mormon on Broadway was shut down. This allowed him the freedom to develop the few recipes that Project Hot Sauce started with for their successful kickstarter campaign in 2021.
