Tasha’s Own Is a family owned and operated venture out of Williamsburg, Virginia. Our soap is crafted with milk from our own herd of dairy goats, honey from our 20+ colonies of bees and botanicals that we grow or gather. Our business began over 20 years ago as an effort to help my daughter who was suffering from eczema and other skin issues. We have been making soap for Colonial Williamsburg for many years and have been participating in the Williamsburg Farmers Market for 10. We also sell to retailers throughout the region. In addition to raising eight children and helping care for twelve grandchildren, I host workshops where I teach farming and homesteading skills such as cheesemaking, animal husbandry, beekeeping and wild foods foraging.

All of our soap is crafted with fresh milk from our own herd of dairy goats, honey from our hives as well
as herbs and botanicals that we grow or gather. We use good-for-your-skin vegetable oils, and essential oils for scent.

As the mother of 8 - (all grown and out of the coop!) grandmother to twelve, I am used to hard work. Our products are a reflection of that hard work and hands on mentality. Soaps, candles, honey and jams are all produced in small batches.’ I love that my hobbies and the things that I love also are the way I get to make my living!
