TapaTía Vita
Vendor
My name is Elvia Pelayo, and I run a small pop-up business called TapaTía Vita, based out of Springfield. Through my business, I aim to share a piece of my Mexican culture with the Lane County community. I offer a variety of traditional Mexican Mercado (market) bags, embroidered purses, wallets, belts, clothing, and aprons.
In addition, I carry handmade beaded jewelry created by my friend Sary and cousin Monica, who live in Chiapas and Jalisco, Mexico. I also design and craft my own Mexican-themed clay earrings, featuring elements like sugar skulls and terra cotta pottery designs. Along with these items, I offer a curated selection of other Mexican-made and culturally inspired goods.
