Steel Beach Smokehouse is a Black veteran-owned barbecue concept founded by a U.S. Navy veteran. The name “Steel Beach” pays homage to life on an aircraft carrier — where sailors fire up the grill on the flight deck for morale and community. That spirit of brotherhood, resilience, and bold flavor is the foundation of our brand.

We serve Texas-style, slow-smoked barbecue made with simple ingredients and real wood smoke. Our menu includes brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, mac-n-cheese, BBQ lamb, fresh lemonade, iced tea, and homemade peach cobbler.
