Freeze-dried Scoops

Freeze-dried ice cream scoops. We use the "leftover" ice cream that didn't come out of the ice cream machine when we are done pouring. This helps eliminate waste and is a fun treat. We then take the left over ice cream and scoop (hence the name) it out of the machine into buckets. Those go into the freezer, and once we're ready for them we take it out and scoop them onto the freeze drier trays and fire them up. 24 hours later and we have our scoops.
