Getting Glassy

Presenting a collection of individually handcrafted stained glass art, I offer approximately 50 unique window hangings and 10 meticulously formed three-dimensional bowls and boxes. Each piece is an original design or a carefully curated adaptation of fair-use patterns. The creation of these works involves a multi-stage process, including precise glass cutting, wet grinding, copper foiling, and expert soldering, resulting in distinctive and enduring artistic expressions. The time invested in each piece reflects its complexity, ranging from 3-5 hours for smaller works to 15-20 hours for larger, more intricate commissions.

Getting Glassy represents the culmination of my extensive artistic background and passion for stained glass. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and two Master's degrees from Lindenwood University, coupled with 12 years of experience as an art educator, I bring a wealth of knowledge and proficiency across various art mediums. My stained glass creations, inspired by nature and the animal world, are characterized by vibrant color, durability, and meticulous craftsmanship. My work is available at local farmers markets, as well as online via Etsy and Facebook Marketplace. I reside in St. Charles City and currently serve as a Gifted and Talented educator in the St. Louis area.
