Sumter County Shrimp

Sumter County Shrimp was founded in 2016 by the Stegall and Templeton families of Tuscaloosa. A partnership was formed with the plan of growing the highest quality shrimp using the natural salt water from aquifers in West Alabama. Construction was completed in early 2017 and our first crop was grown that summer. Our goal is to provide the highest quality shrimp possible to our customers while knowing it is free of contamination, antibiotics, preservatives, pesticides, and so much more that occurs regularly in imports.
