The Birth Center is a full scope midwifery practice in SLC, specializing in natural births in our licensed birthing center as well as home births. Out in the community, we seek to support families in all stages of life, from comfortable places to breastfeed and/or care for their babies, to community support and family education opportunities.
We are happy to provide the farmers market with a "Baby feeding Lounge," --a free space for families to feed and care for their babies and toddlers in comfortable chairs, with water to drink, and misting fans running. Please stop by and enjoy a rest between these great vendors!

We are a team of women made up of midwives, midwife assistants, childbirth educators, advocates, and support staff. While midwifery care for the childbearing year is the service that we provide as a business, we seek out numerous ways that we can be active in our community in supporting and advocating for families any way we can. We know that inadequate feeding and baby care facilities is a common problem and barrier for many families, and we see a way that we can meet that need through our friendly and comfortable Parent's Lounge. We have had this lounge before for multiple seasons at the Wheeler Farm Farmer's Market, and had an overwhelmingly positive and grateful response from the community, as so many families expressed their gratitude each week for a comfortable place to meet their babies' needs.
