Tasty Koji is the first small batch Japanese Koji fermentation business licensed in the state of Georgia, according to the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Suzuko, a founder, is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach dedicated to providing the highest-quality food that supports the body's natural healing abilities. Our products can simplify and elevate home cooking, nourish the mind, body, and spirit with beneficial enzymes which not only enhance umami (tasty taste) flavors but are also believed to support the gut microbiome. Koji has been a backbone of Japanese healthful cuisine for over 1000 years and is a main ingredient in fermented foods, including miso, soy sauce, mirin, and sake, to name a few. Koji is also cherished for promoting healthy, beautiful skin without the use of toxic chemicals. We love to spread the wisdom and beauty of Tasty Koji to our Atlanta community.
