Keeper Coffee Co
Vendor
Keeper Coffee is a mobile cafe located inside of Adored Vintage in central eastside. We serve Coava Coffee, Aesthete Tea, One Stripe Chai, and house made pastries. We have chosen these purveyors, because of their dedication to quality and best sourcing practices. From our personal experience and relationship with Coava, we know they source the highest quality coffee and maintain long term partnerships with their producers. This care for the producers is of utmost importance to us. Aesthete Tea is a specialty loose leaf tea company based in southeast Portland. Briana and her mother Maggie source some of the rarest specialty teas that are blended in small batches to preserve freshness. One Stripe Chai co was founded by Farah and Josh who knew the need for baristas a traditional chai without the long brew time. Farah regularly visits origin and has strong relationships with the farms who grow One Stripe's tea. Our priority with all of our baked goods is to find seasonal and local ingredients. We often source produce from farms just under 15 miles from our kitchen or even grown in our own garden. In the spring we buy our eggs from our friends at Food Waves Farm and make a priority to find any meat and cheese from farms we know have healthy animal husbandry practices. As a company we strive to grow with these four pillars as a foundation: quality, consistency, community, and service. We hope every interaction, coffee served, and pastry shared is an example of our commitment to these core values.

My affection for food and service began as a child, being raised behind a deli counter in NY. At age 5 I was stocking shelves and greeting customers by name; that feeling of hospitality has always stuck with me. I have worked in the food & beverage industry (professionally ;)) for just over 15 years and every year I love it more. I have always had a personal interest in farming and animal husbandry and make every effort to support Oregon farms and orchards. This interest became even more of a priority to me when I was a personal cook for a family in Northeast Portland. I was given free rein to be as creative as I'd like with my recipes, but was requested to keep everything as local and seasonal as possible. It was an absolute pleasure to walk through the market aisles and meet all the farmer's I looked up to and began to bud relationships with! Through the process my interest in food and hospitality became a priority that started to shape the idea of Keeper Coffee. I now live in Lents with my husband and daughter where we spend most of our sunny days gardening and our rainy days baking. For the past three years I've built so many beautiful relationships with my neighbors and can't wait to spend the last couple of months of the market season meeting so many more neighbors and sharing a little bit of Keeper Coffee with them.
