We grow gourmet garlic and onions. We are planning to expand into other root vegetables.
Use Only Organic Materials Non Gmo Crop Rotation
Our crops are grown without chemicals. We use blood meal, bone meal, alfalfa meal, and other organically approved fertilizers, as well as compost.
By trade I am a truck driver. I started growing garlic five years ago. Each year I have expanded to the point that last year I grew approximately 1/8 of an acre. This year I plan on growing my operations to 1/3 acre of garlic, and another 1/3 acre of onions, while trying to perfect the size and quality of both.
Savory Rose is my farm, and I am its main worker. My family helps a lot with planting and harvesting, and will help with the market as well. We strive to give the customer the experience that gourmet garlic has over typical grocery store garlic. While grocery store garlic may make food taste better, gourmet garlic gives your recipes a euphoric quality.
