Hi, I’m Kevlyn — better known as “Mimi” around The Kettle Corn Store!
My kettle corn journey started when I married my husband, Jeremiah (“Pops”), in 2003 and joined the kettle corn adventure he had started just a year earlier. What began with a popper bought on eBay and a whole lot of trial, error, and creativity has grown into The Kettle Corn Store we love today.
Over the years, we’ve popped kettle corn at everything from Florida Gator football games to farmers markets, festivals, community events, and more. Somewhere along the way, we decided plain old kettle corn just wasn’t enough! Now we’re known for our huge variety of fun flavors, our famous Swamp Chomp, and, of course, our Caramel Pork Rinds and other Pork-Fection creations.
For me, this business is about so much more than snacks. It’s about family, faith, community, and making people smile. Our kids have grown up helping with the business, and today The Kettle Corn Store is still very much a family affair.
You’ll usually find me behind the counter and behind the scenes dreaming up new flavors, planning events, creating something fun, or figuring out what we’re going to pop next.
After more than 20 years, I still love seeing someone try one of our creations for the first time and say, “Wait…you can make kettle corn taste like THAT?!”
