At Ahara Rasa Ghee, we believe food is more than nourishment; it is connection, tradition, and care. Our name, Ahara Rasa (Ah-hah-rah Ruh-Sah), comes from Sanskrit and means “the essence of food,” the subtle energy we receive when digestion is strong and nourishment is complete.

We are a small business based in the Pacific Northwest, rooted in a diverse background and guided by Indian heritage. Ghee making is part of our cultural story, passed down through generations and carried forward with love.

Our ghee is prepared in small batches over an open flame, never in steam kettles. This patient, artisanal method creates a ghee that is rich, nourishing, and crafted with care.
