Fonzie Farms

Fonzie Farms is a small-scale farm rooted in community, and care. Founded by Nanda — a dedicated ecologist in her day job — the farm grows fresh, seasonal produce using regenerative practices that nourish both people and the planet. Named after her beloved foster-turned-adopted dog, Fonzie, the farm is a reflection of deep commitment to the land, animals, and the belief that healing is possible - for ecosystems, communities, and individuals alike.
Fonzie's rescue story is at the heart of the farm's mission. In September 2021, Nanda got a call from the shelter:
Fonzie, a stray husky-shepherd mix found, was scheduled to be euthanized in just hours. She said yes to foster without hesitation. With the help of volunteers, Fonzie made it to Oregon - and into Nanda's home and heart. What started as a foster became family, and Fonzie's resilience continues to inspire everything grown here.
