About
Birdie's Batch, LLC, is a mother-daughter duo making classic baked goods and preserves from local ingredients. It was formed in June 2020 after what seemed like endless months of baking to combat COVID stress and quarantine. The team thought if their families found comfort in their old-fashioned treats like ginger snaps, coffee cake, pumpkin bread, and mega chocolate chip cookies, so would their community. One of their specialities is seasonal jams that are made with local farm produce and jarred within 48 hours of picking! Open a jar of our peach, strawberry or blueberry jam for a reminder of what summer tastes like. We hope that when you try our treats, you not only get a sense of childhood delight, but a sense of home, too.

Virginia Cann and Sara Cann are the mother-and-daughter team behind Birdie's Batch, LLC. Virginia's jams, jellies and preserves have been popular with family and friends for years, and after countless, "You should sell these!" she decided to take her family's advice. Sara is a former food director for a restaurant group in Manhattan and culinary school grad from The French Culinary Institute. Most days you can find these two recipe testing in the kitchen and talking about what to eat next.
