The entirety of my pieces are constructed from clay and are completely handmade by me. My shop predominantly specializes in realistic and abstract sculptures, figurines, home and wall decor. Some pieces are fired and painted with acrylics, and others are fired with cone 6 and glazed.
My name is Didem (Dee) for short. I immigrated to the United States from Turkey in the early 90s to attend the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC. I am married with two daughters and have been doing art and making clay sculptures/figures on and off ever since. I currently attend a pottery studio in San Antonio, where I am able to fire and glaze my pieces, the construction is mostly done from my home office.
