Sweet Swirls Ice Cream

Sweet Swirls began in 2017 as Iowa’s first rolled ice cream truck and quickly became a local favorite. Later that year, we put down roots in Ankeny’s Uptown neighborhood, where our brick-and-mortar shop has been home ever since. We specialize in made-to-order rolled ice cream, crafting custom creations for our guests seven days a week.

As Sweet Swirls grew, we found that rolling ice cream on the spot at busy events could be tricky—so we got creative. By hand-packing the same ice cream we roll in the shop, we discovered it was just as delicious and perfect for serving on the go. Today, our mobile truck and trailer serve up handcrafted scoops alongside ice cream floats, flights, ice cream nachos with homemade waffle chips, and more. We want to bring the Sweet Swirls experience all across central Iowa, one event and festival at a time!
