We take a special and unique approach at Doddy Creek Farms. We're uninterested in producing large quantities of meat for the masses. Instead, we've taken a boutique approach that delivers fresh, clean beef to Nashville and the surrounding areas. Our passion for raising and harvesting cattle with care and in superior conditions has resulted in the highest quality beef for our customers.
Our animals are born and raised on the farm with the following protocol:
No antibiotics, hormones or steroids to promote growth.
We use Registered Akaushi Bulls for the best marbling genetics.
We produce our cattle as an F1 cross of Angus and Charolais cows to Akaushi sires to increase the marbling characteristics due to phenotypic genetics.
They are grass fed and finished on natural grain for eleven months prior to harvest.
Cattle are rotated on pastures with a clean spring fed watering system in all paddocks.
We provide a low stress environment and treat the cattle humanely.
We produce our cattle as an F1 cross of Angus and Charolais cows to Akaushi sires to increase the marbling characteristics due to phenotypic genetics.
Once harvested, the beef is dry aged for 28-31 days enhancing the marbling and richness of the cuts.
