Breathe- light weight face masks

Breathe was born from the desire to create a face mask that was light weight, breathable (goes without saying...or rather it's all in the name!), fits well and is sustainable. After reading many, many articles and researching various face mask designs I landed on a double layer mask made with a Tencel cotton blend and a cotton liner. The mask is designed to be reversible, has a filter pocket, nose wire and adjustable elastic ear straps. I have also designed a chiffon insert as an additional layer of protection. There has been recent research that shows a mixture of cotton and chiffon can create an electrostatic barrier making the face mask more efficient at filtering out particulates.
