Sato Sweets

Sato Sweets was inspired by my rescue dog Edgar, a blind and deaf senior dog I adopted from Puerto Rico in 2020. Although Edgar has since passed, his journey continues to shape the heart of my business. I create small-batch, homemade dog treats using fresh, simple ingredients, and I donate a portion of sales to Save a Friend Puerto Rico, the organization that cares for street dogs (“satos”) like Edgar.

I previously operated at farmers markets in Frederick, Maryland from 2021–2022. After pausing the business due to a family health situation and an out-of-state move, I’m excited to relaunch Sato Sweets here in Sarasota and connect with the local community.

- Bayamón Banana
