Bakey is a Boston-based bakery dedicated to sharing its love for babka, a sweet braided bread rooted in European Jewish tradition. The bakery was co-founded by Uri Scheft, a James Beard Award–nominated Danish-Israeli baker known for blending European and Israeli baking traditions. Scheft continues to bring creativity to Bakey with new babka flavors and seasonal baked goods launched regularly.
