Sleepy Hollow Cinema is a new community-based nonprofit founded by local cinema fans with a shared mission: to create vibrant gathering spaces where residents can experience the power and art of film. Born from overwhelming public enthusiasm for a hometown theater, we aim to bring a diverse lineup of movies to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow—from family favorites and Spanish-language films to avant-garde indies and spine-chilling horror. Proudly rooted in our regional identity, we aspire to become a national Home for Horror, especially during the Halloween season, when our programming will thrill locals and visitors alike.
