Memphis, Tn. native, Chef Smith aka Emmanuel Smith developed a love for culinary arts at the age of 8. He often watched his mom in the kitchen. At first she would often shoo him away, because he would only want to lick the dessert bowls. She began to notice his love to learn the basics of cooking.
Over time Chef Smith began to develop his skills and he began to take over the kitchen with his creative dishes.
After high school, he looked for Culinary Arts schools, so he could pursue culinary arts and be a chef, but sadily at that time Culinary Art schools were far from Memphis, Tn. Hopes shattered Chef Smith got in line to join the workforce.
2013
A healthy weight-loss challenge brought about a new found interest in cooking. Chef Smith never stopped cooking, but his creative juices and love for cooking was almost dimenished. After a successful 60lb weight-loss challenge his diet and lifestyle changed from a meat, dairy and fish diet to a vegan/plant-based diet. What a new challenge, but Chef Smith has always been up for a challenge.
With a new found interest in cooking and a new diet and lifestyle, he got back in the kitchen and Heaven's Healthy Kitchen was born. We specialize in homemade, organic and made from scratch vegan and plant-based foods.
