Glori's Ocean Dreams

My name is Glori Harrington and I combine Unique Ocean Treasures with Photography that speaks to the Soul as well adding a little Spark to Everyday Life!
I miss the ocean and yearn to be there again. The waves washed away the melancholy of day-to-day life and Mother Nature never failed to ignite the soul – whether it be with a spectacular sunrise or a raging storm.
I carry my camera with me at all times to preserve that one moment in time that stops me in my tracks. My favorite memories I choose to share with the world in hopes that one will touch the heart of someone that is struggling to find beauty in life. The photographs are displayed in multiple formats (matted, framed, metal, mosaic).
An early morning stroll on the beach spent searching for treasures from the sea provides a sense of peace that stays with me through the rest of the day. The smooth frosted sea glass and wave tossed seashells I find inspire me to create items as special and beautiful as the ocean they come from. My treasures are showcased in pendants, earrings, hair accessories (clips, sticks, slides) sun- catchers, shadow boxes and other uncommon creations. The smallest of sea glass pieces are bottled as Mermaids Tears, something I am all too familiar with.
My newest collection, Secrets & Dreams Potion Pendanrts, is a bit odd, a mixture of light and dark, but I hope it appeals to those who may be like me – Brothers & Sisters in Sorrow – searching – dreaming – believing……there IS more to this sometimes wretched life, there IS beauty in every day – you just have to take the time to look for it and there IS a way back home.
It is my sincere desire that each person who chooses one of my creations is reminded that every day, in every way, they are just as rare and special, no matter their situation. Life is so very fleeting – remember to LIVE every day.
