Daydreams Cakes & Pastries LLC, is a company based on the elaboration of artisan cakes, cookies, pastries and artisan desserts.
Our traditional family recipes are made with top quality material, we use dulce de leche exported from South America for the filling of our traditional ALFAJORES which gives our products an original touch.
Each recipe is hand-made to preserve the traditional flavor and taking care of every detail in its presentation and flavor, without preservatives, low in sugar and basically the main ingredients are flour, eggs, honey and butter.

My name is Alicia Berardo, I’m from Argentina and I have been living in Salt Lake City for the last 19 years. When I was in Argentina I studied social work and developed a program to help low income mothers learn new skills through workshops. Through these workshops I learned new baking skills myself.
When I moved to the States, I wasn’t unable to keep working as a social worker and I decided to start baking at home. After going through a very hard period of time in which I had lots of family and economical problems, having 3 kids that I had to support all by myself, with very limited resources and not being able to speak English fluently, I decided to start working in a bakery. This offered me a lot of professional experience and that helped me start my own business.
My mother and my grandma helped me handcraft my products with their family recipes. I also design pastries and desserts for parties and all kinds of events, in addition to selling traditional Argentinian pastries.
