About
2nd Street Candles are made in small batches, and are lovingly hand-mixed and hand-poured from our home in Kaysville, Utah. We use all-natural soy wax (made from soy beans grown by U.S. farmers) that contain the maximum amount of premium phthalate free fragrance oils that the wax will hold. Our cotton wicks are lead and zinc free, as well as low-smoke and clean-burning. Being paraffin free, our candles and wax melts will not deposit black soot on walls and furniture. The combination of these details has allowed us to create beautifully scented candles that are clean burning and non-toxic.

Due to Kathleen’s high sensitivity to scented products, we wanted to produce clean burning candles that could be enjoyed by individuals with similar sensitivities. The lack of paraffin in our candles, along with phthalate free fragrance oils and cotton wicks, creates candles and melts that allow for a clean burn. Kathleen creates the products, while Richard handles the business side of our company. Our children frequently help with product testing, social media, and distribution.
