Olliver Community Circle

Ollivier Community Circle (OCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Tidewater, Virginia, dedicated to advancing health equity for underserved communities. Ollivier Community Circle exists to advance health equity for underserved minority communities in Tidewater Virginia by providing consistent access to nutritious food, culturally responsive mental health education, and holistic wellness programs—empowering children and families to thrive in body, mind, and community.

OCC leads three core programs:

Food Access & Education Program – Provides fresh food distributions twice monthly in partnership with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, along with nutrition education.

Resilience & Wellness Youth Program – Builds emotional awareness, social skills, and coping tools for children ages 6–10 through engaging lessons and activities.

Nurture & Shine empowers teen girls through mentorship, mental health education, and career exploration workshops that build confidence and foster leadership.

Together, these programs create a circle of care and empowerment, promoting lasting well-being across generations.
