About

Baking has been my passion since my mom first let me use the oven. Over the years, I experimented with hundreds of recipes, took tons of baking classes and even learned how to decorate wedding cakes. From all of that, I developed my own baking philosophy - use only wholesome ingredients like real butter, whole milk, sugar, eggs and flour and the result will always be amazing baked goods. I'm a firm believer in moderation instead of substitution. Flavor and taste are my top priorities.

The idea for Sweet Seidner's goes back to my freshman year in college when my roommate's grandmother sent us homemade cookies each week. Seeing my roommate walk through the door with that brown paper wrapped package always put a smile on my face.

This memory sparked the idea for Sweet Seidner's Bake Shop. Our business started five years ago shipping our first cookie order to Tufts University. Since then we have shipped thousands of treats to over 150 colleges and university across the country. A few years ago we expanded our sales efforts to local farmers markets and festivals. In addition we have expanded our product line to include brownies, cookie bars, decorated cookies, coconut macaroons and other seasonal treats.

Sweet Seidner's is a family run small business. My husband (a dentist, really, I am not kidding) helps me in the kitchen. He is my master mixer and scooper. And I rely on my teenage son (and his school friends) to be an expert taste tester. It's a family effort and we pull together to get the work done, have some fun and enjoy the fruits (treats) of our labor.

In 2002, I decided it was time to retire from my career in consumer package goods marketing and stay home with my family. During this time I not only raised my children but volunteered at their school and
