Light: Thrives in medium to low, indirect light. Avoid direct sun—it can scorch delicate fronds.
Water: Soak the moss ball in room-temperature water for 10–15 minutes every 1–2 weeks. Allow to drain fully before placing back. In winter, reduce watering slightly.
Drainage: Never leave the kokedama in standing water. Proper drying prevents root rot.
Humidity: Prefers higher humidity. Mist occasionally, especially in dry homes.
Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted liquid houseplant fertilizer. No need to fertilize in winter.
