At William & Mary, the arts don’t just live on campus, they ripple outward, connecting students, faculty, and the wider community through a dynamic calendar of events. With over 275 performances, exhibitions, and showcases each season, the university becomes a hub of creative energy and cultural exchange.
From student recitals and concerts to theatre productions and gallery exhibitions, presentations in art and art history, music, dance, creative writing, and film and media studies, each event offers a glimpse into the evolving landscape of artistic expression.
The season’s centerpiece is William & Mary PRESENTS! a curated series that brings award-winning dance, theatre, film, comedy, and multi–Grammy-winning musicians to Williamsburg, offering audiences a chance to experience nationally recognized talent in an intimate setting.
These events don’t happen in isolation. Many are created in collaboration with regional arts organizations and community partners, making the arts at William & Mary a shared experience—one that invites participation, sparks dialogue, and celebrates the unexpected.
