Gryffin Bibliophile Conservatory is an up and coming independent bookseller that will be operating out of Tampa, Florida! Owner, Ashley Smith, a registered nurse at Tampa General Hospital, inspired by the flower truck industry, realized that this style of business was the answer to her dream of selling books. As one of Tampa's only soon to-be independent booksellers, G.B.C. is giddy to share our love of literature, establish a relationship with our community, and curate a lovely variety of books and associations for our customers.

Ashley Smith is the owner and independent operator of Gryffin Bibliophile Conservatory. She is a full-time registered nurse that works in surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Ashley enjoys the outdoors, riding horses, reading, ballroom dancing and ballet, throwing get-togethers, vintage cars, and attempting to learn to play the cello. She grew up as an Army brat, moving every two years growing up; consequently, she loves to travel to see her friends and family spread out around the country. She is eager and thrilled to venture into the new endeavor of owning a mobile business and pursing a long time dream of hers to become a bookseller that provides a spark of magic for her community.
