Miss Penn's Mountain Seeds
Vendor
All of my seed is grown at 8,120' in the Wet Mountains. Wild-collected seed is sustainably hand gathered between 5-11,000' on my property and in the San Isabel and Pike National Forest and 4 counties of the BLM. This is our 34th growing season and while we are not certified organic, we have never used a chemical. We build our native soil and make compost. All the seed I offer is adapted to the extreme climate of Colorado and are short-season varieties. Any long season varieties are noted to be grown in a greenhouse. I specialize in tomatoes, and wild native seed. Along with that I offer wild and cultivated herbs, garden flowers, vegetables, native trees, fruit and shrubs.
