Winged Spur Farm

My wife Mary and I, John, started Winged Spur Farm after moving back to John's former home county of Mecosta in January 2018. We had a poultry and produce farm in Nebraska & wanted to do the same here in Michigan for John's full-time job. Purchasing 10 acres with a small home on it north of Remus, Michigan, gave us a place to start our current farm in the spring of 2018. In our first year here we started working the land, doubled our crop space in 2019 and are adding more in 2020. We raise & sell popular produce like tomatoes, peppers, beans, peas, potatoes, salad greens and some less common crops. We also have free range, cage free eggs from our laying flock of heritage breed chickens and ducks.
