Banshee the Kid is an amalgamation of Columbus artist Ally Christopher's creative interests, ranging from stickers to jewelry to fine art printmaking. Banshee the Kid is steeped in intersectional values and some real witchy energy. While started in 2018, Banshee the Kid became a full fledged family business with the joining of Sheila Christopher, Ally's older, more organized sister who is in charge of practical matters as well as keeping Ally in line.
Hello! I'm Ally (a.k.a. the Kid) and I am a printmaker with an affinity for raging against the machine and girl gangs. I love philosophy, cats, The Shins, stirring the pot, relief printmaking, and trees.
My sister, Sheila, manages the business details as (if you could not immediately tell from the above description of myself) I am not a particularly business minded gal. Sheila works as a data systems analyst and has a degree in Information Systems and Marketing. Sheila is what the kids call A Smart Cookie.
