Epworth Children's Home
Vendor
Epworth Children’s Home Foster Care provides safe, stable, and nurturing family-based placements for children who cannot remain in their biological homes due to abuse, neglect, or other safety concerns. The program recruits, trains, licenses, and supports both regular and therapeutic foster families, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to meet each child’s unique physical, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
The Foster Care team works closely with the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS), medical providers, schools, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive services for children in care. This includes case management, medical and mental health coordination, educational advocacy, and crisis intervention. Epworth’s Therapeutic Foster Care program offers enhanced support for children with higher needs, including trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and individualized treatment planning.
Epworth prioritizes permanency through reunification, adoption, or other long-term solutions while providing ongoing support to foster families. The program’s mission is to ensure every child has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive in a loving and supportive environment.
