At Moravian Woodcrafts, I believe that every tree has a story worth telling even after it leaves the landscape. My work is rooted in a philosophy of harmony with nature, which is why I choose to work exclusively with urban timber. I believe the most beautiful colors are the ones nature intended, which is why you will never find paint or stains in my work. I use hand-rubbed, food-grade oils to reveal the deep walnuts, warm redwoods, and golden oaks hidden beneath the bark. I create mason bee houses, mountain art, cutting boards, utensils (right and left handed), wine caddies, and more. When you bring a Moravian piece into your home, you aren’t just buying a woodcraft — you’re preserving a piece of our local landscape, finished with honesty and built to last a lifetime.
